SHILLONG: In a freak accident, a 4-year-old girl died on the spot after loose soil and stones fell on her at Umeit village, Ri Bhoi district on Thursday morning. On contacting SP of Ri-Bhoi, GD Kharwanlang, he said that the incident took place when the child was playing and her parents were working.
