SHILLONG: Chief Minister Mukul Sangma will meet the NGOs from East and West Khasi Hills to discuss the issue of uranium mining on Friday. The row over uranium mining resurfaced after the UCIL floated a tender to construct an open pit and processing plant in Mawthabah, South West Khasi Hills.  The issue of the two-lane road from Mawthabah to Wakhaji will also be discussed. Earlier on Thursday, in a public meeting held
at Mawkyrwat, South West Khasi Hills, the KSU decided to storm the UCIL office at Nongmynsong in protest against any move to mine uranium mining and also against two- laning of  road from Nongstoin to Mawthabah
