RG refutes new party report

SHILLONG: Former Home Minister RG Lyngdoh has refuted the reports that he along with rebel Congress leader PN Syiem is forming a new political party.
“I have no knowledge about such development,” he said here on Monday.
Making his stand clear, the former Home Minister said that no one had approached him in this regard.
It was earlier reported that at least six MLAs, several MDCs and top leaders of the party have decided to form a new party under the leadership of R G Lyngdoh and PN Syiem.
