SHILLONG: The 13th annual celebration of Sree Narayana Guru Cultural Centre (SNGCC), Shillong and 162nd Birth Anniversary of Jagatpurush Sree Narayana Guru will be organized by SNGCC at Assam Kristi Kendra, Dhankheti from 10:30 am onwards on Saturday.
On the occasion four Sree Narayana Guru Awards for Social Service, Education/Literary, Entrepreneurship and Lifetime Achievement will be presented by Speaker A. T. Mondal.
Jemino Mawthoh, MLA, Nongthymmai will be the guest of honour and Prof. G. K. Sasidharan, a renowned scientist and former VC, University of Calicut, Kerala will be one of the special guests at the function.
SNGCC is a socio-cultural, nonsectarian and humanitarian organization, established in 2004 in Shillong with the motto of Sree Narayana Guru – “One Caste, One Religion and One God for Men”.
