Boy drowns

SHILLONG:  The body of a nine-year-old boy hailing from Ialong village in West Jainita Hills was recovered from Myntdu river on Saturday. The boy had gone along with his friends to swim in Myntdu river, police said.     His body was recovered on Saturday evening.
