SHILLONG: The State unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Government for taking on the terrorists bred in Pakistani soil on Thursday.
State BJP spokesperson Basu Chakraborty said, “We are proud of the armed forces and the surgical strikes were possible because of the Modi government’s patriotic inspiration.”
Thanking the intelligence agencies for their “perfect identification of terrorist camps in POK”, Chakraborty said the Centre has diplomatically isolated Pakistan internationally and proved that Pakistan is a terrorist country.
He also appreciated that despite all ideological differences, the political parties in the country have come together to support the Modi government for its dynamic deeds.
The Indian Paratroopers’ surgical strike was carried out late on Wednesday night and it continued till early Thursday morning where approximately 40 terrorists were eliminated.
