School includes cleanliness in syllabus

SHILLONG: Going a step further for the cause of cleanliness a city school has included it in the syllabus with an aim to make students aware of their responsibilities.
In this connection, the scouts and guides unit of Seng Khasi Higher Secondary School conducted a cleaning drive in Jaiaw Laitdom from Mawbynna point to the school campus on October 6.  “This training is a part of the community service included in the syllabus of the school to make children understand their social responsibility,” a statement said.
