NONGPOH: Nongpoh legislator and chief adviser to the government of Meghalaya DD Lapang on Thursday laid foundation stone for two road projects at Umlakhar village in Ri Bhoi.
The road projects– metalling and black toppnig of Umlakhar road connecting Umdohkha and Umlakhar to Umtrai village, was sanctioned at an estimated amount of Rs. 5.30 crore and scheduled for completion in February 2018.
The foundation stone laying ceremony was also attended by officials and local villagers and headmen.
