SHILLONG: The Coordination Committee on International Border (CCIB) will stage a dharna on Tuesday at 10:30 am in front of the Additional Secretariat demanding immediate halt to the Indo-Bangla border survey in West Jaintia Hills.
This was announced at a public gathering of land owners and locals held at Dawki recently.
CCIB leaders have demanded the realignment of boundary pillars as per the Nehruvian agreement in 1958 even as they maintained that they are not against border fencing.
