NPP meet to strengthen party before ’18 polls

TURA: The NPP held its annual general conference in Rongjeng block last week to strengthen the party before the 2018 assembly elections. Sitting MDC of the NPP Metrinson G Momin said, “We will reach out to people and seek their support and will ensure transparency in implementation of developmental schemes.”Senior citizen of Rongjeng Michael M Sangma chaired the meeting and general secretary Benedik Sangma appraised the gathering on the party agenda and its works.Those gathered at the meeting also stood up for a condolence prayer in memory of late Purno A Sangma who had founded the NPP.
