Jual Oram to visit State

SHILLONG: Union Minister for Tribal Affairs, Jual Oram will visit the State on Thursday to attend a two-day international seminar on ‘Understanding the tribes of India’ organized by Synod College, Shillong. The seminar will conclude on November 4.The Union minister will release a book on the first day of the seminar.Other dignitaries invited to the seminar include Lok Sabha members Vincent Pala and Conrad Sangma, Smriti Kumar Sarkar, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Burdwan, and prominent international and national scholars.
