Gas agency asks customers to wait for home delivery

SHILLONG: Riwar Mihngi Indane Gas Agency has informed that the consumers should not approach the truck upon its arrival to collect the refills, but wait at their residence for the refills to be delivered. In response to a news report in this regard, the gas agency on Tuesday said that it has no intention to force any customer to collect refills from the truck. “As an agency striving towards optimizing customer’s satisfaction, we have always welcomed feedback, suggestions or complaints so that corrective measures can be taken,” the gas agency said. adding that no customers had approached it with complaints. The agency said that to maintain smooth distribution of the cylinder refills, the agency had even sought the help and cooperation of the local Dorbar. The agency also made it clear that the customers who are still not satisfied with its services can avail the facility of portability at any time.
