One Celestine Lamin lodged a complaint stating that one Anthony Nongrum of Nongkseh village (WKH), illegally cut down trees from her land at Nongtyrkhang Nongkseh village (WKH) and stole the timber.
Threatened
Happy Rymbai, president, Tourist Taxi Drivers’ Association, Ladrymbai-Kalain-Badarpur region, lodged a complaint stating that one Stephan Lyngdoh, formerly a member of the association, threatened the complainant and other members with dire consequences.
Assault
On November 3, unidentified miscreants assaulted one Marius Kharlukhii, 42, at Mawtawar Nongkohlew village. As a result, the victim sustained injuries and was shifted to CH Shillong. The matter is under enquiry.
