Vehicle missing in city

SHILLONG: A vehicle which was repossessed by a bank from the possession of a loan defaulter has gone missing.
Pratap Sen, branch manager, Indusind Bank Ltd., Shillong lodged a complaint that on August 30, this year, one Tata LPK-2530 vehicle (ML-05L-1099) was repossessed by the bank from the possession of a loan defaulter and the same was parked in a parking lot at Laitkor (EKH).
However, on October 21 when the branch manager went for inspection of the vehicle, it was found missing from the parking lot.
Reportedly, one Bajopthiaw L Marshillong has fraudulently forged the signature of the complainant and got the vehicle released.
