Man scares bank manager with bullets

SHILLONG: A branch manager of the State Bank of India in Tura was threatened by an unidentified person who was standing in queue for withdrawal of money.
Police said that the incident happened on November 14 when the unidentified person had an argument with the branch manager after standing in the queue for some time.
Following the argument, the person went out, and came back with two live cartridges, one belt and some documents, placed them on the manager’s table and threatened him stating that he would be in trouble once comes out of the bank.
West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner Pravin Bakshi said that a case has been registered in this regard.
He said that the person who threatened the manager could be either a militant or a surrendered ultra too.
