SHILLONG: Tura MP Conrad Sangma will raise a host of issues, including connectivity in the North East, in the month-long winter session of Parliament that began on Wednesday.
Sangma will also discuss the pros and cons of demonetisation, besides the impact of Act East Policy. In addition, he will also raise the issue of strengthening infrastructure and the amendment of the Sixth Schedule (District Councils).
Law and order in the North East, trade boost along the international border, protection of minority institutions under the New Education Policy, direct benefit transfer and renewable energy are also among the issues that the Tura MP is planning to raise in the Lower House.
