TURA: The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) has announced that Class XI examinations for all streams would commence in February.
While the internal, promotion and practical examination will be conducted between February 1 and 7, theory examinations will begin from February 8.
Controller of Examinations T R Laloo said that there is very little chance of question paper leakage this time as they are being kept in banks and police stations.
“No additional measures have been taken, but we feel that they will be safe where they are,” he said.
When reminded of last year’s leaked question papers, he said that those were of class IX which are more prone to leakage due to absence of designated facilities for storage, especially in the rural areas.
