SHILLONG: Pressure groups from Dadenggre in West Garo Hills have written to the sub-divisional officer (civil) about the poor work done by contractor L.M Sangma under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana.
The groups — FKJGP, ADE and AYWO — said the work was not done as per the guidelines of the scheme. The SDO has promised to look into the matter and take up the issue with the department concerned, said AYWO Dadenggre president Sengjan Sangma.
