Pre-Christmas celebration

Office bearers
The Meghalaya Industrial Workers’ Union formed its office at Lumshnong in EJH. Meanwhile, Albinus Lyngdoh has been elected the president of the union, Lukas Mukhim the vice-president among others. The union extended Christmas and New Year wishes to the people.

The Sub Divisional Magistrate, Sohra Civil Sub Division has promulgated an order under Section 144 CrPC prohibiting opening of any quarry within 500m radius from the location of the major bridge at Tharia over River Wahrew.
