JOWAI: The office of the Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Jaintia Hills celebrated the Rabi Campaign cum Jai Kisan Jai Vigyan Day at Sahsniang ‘A’ village in West Jaintia Hills recently.
The celebration highlighted the importance of crops grown during the Rabi seasons and the benefits farmers could gain as additional crop harvest.
The celebration also aimed at showcasing and demonstrating new technological advances for enhancing productivity and profitability of agriculture.
The programme was chaired by Risa Karu Lyngdoh, Subject Matter Specialist (Agronomy).
