SHILLONG: A mentally unstable person was assaulted by miscreants at Mawryngkneng.
Police said that the incident happened on Tuesday morning when the miscreants assaulted one Ganesh Debbarman of West Tripura while he was travelling in a Tripura-bound bus (AS-01Q-2529) at Pomura under Mawryngkneng PS.
Later the victim fled into a nearby forest.
