SHILLONG: The KSU girls’ wing has condemned the sexual abuse of a minor at Marvelene’s Inn.
“Stringent action should be taken against people involved in the abuse as per the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO Act) 2012, be it a legislator or a common man,” said a statement from the girls’ wing.
The statement added that inspections will be conducted in every guest house to prevent such incidents from taking place in the future.
The KHNAM youth wing has also condemned the incident.
