SHILLONG: Apropos the news item, “Trouble mounts on absconding Julius”, concerning the trafficking racket in which the 14-year-old girl was raped, the headman of Madanrting stated that there are no guest houses in the area. E. Kharkongor said he had called up the Office in Charge of Madanrting to find out about the incident, in which he was informed that there is no guest house in the area.
It is informed that Dorphang had raped the girl at a guest house at Motinagar and not at Madanrting.
