4 held for Tura twin gang rapes

TURA: The four men involved in the alleged rape of two minor girls on the night of December 24 have been arrested from different parts of Garo Hills.The four men, led by Chanang Marak, had taken three girls from William Point park in Tura for a drive on the eve of Christmas. They raped two girls while the third escaped. The alleged rapists have been identified as Chanang Ch Marak (24), Junebirth R. Marak (22), Pringbal Ch Sangma (20) and Goldistar M Marak (24). The accused are from Sangkharigre village near Garobadha.
