SHILLONG: The detailed project report of the 80-km improvement of NH-40 between Shillong and Dawki and construction of the Dawki bridge will be prepared by January 31 after the National Highway Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) approved the alignment for the project on December 16 last year.
The final feasibility report on the improvement of the 80-km stretch of the national highway and construction of the bridge has also been submitted to NHIDCL.
The project will be implemented by M/s Transys Consulting Pvt Ltd at an estimated cost of Rs 200 crore to be funded by Japan International Cooperation Agency.
