City lawyer on the run after molesting intern

SHILLONG: A city-based lawyer is on the run after he allegedly molested a law intern in his office here on Wednesday afternoon.   A police official said when the police went to the residence of the lawyer on Thursday, the relatives told that he had gone to Tura.After the victim filed the FIR, a case was registered by the police.     The 20-year-old law student in her FIR lodged at Sadar police station said on Wednesday around 12 pm when she went to the chamber of Advocate Aynul Hazarika on Keating Road to do internship under him, she was given some typing work in his computer. In the due course of time, the advocate molested the law student thrice, but she resisted and ran out to report the matter to the police.The victim urged the police to book the lawyer as per law under Section 354 of the IPC, for outraging her modesty.
