S. Thangkhiew of Super Care Hospital, Laitumkhrah, Shillong lodged a complaint that on January 9 between 11.30 am and 12 noon, unknown miscreants stole one cell-phone and Rs. 15000 belonging to a patient of the hospital Ridalin Kharjana from Room No. 106.
Accident
On January 8 at about 9.20 am, one truck (AS-18C-3851) knocked down one Suraj Kumar, while he was conducting road survey at Gabil Daningka village, NH-62 in East Garo Hills. As a result, the victim sustained injuries and was shifted to Narayan Hospital, Guwahati. After the incident, the truck fled away.
Rs 62 lakh debt
One Allan Delmore Pala lodged a complaint that on December 22 last one Joshwa Suchiang of Iongpiah, Jowai (WJH) borrowed Rs. 62 lakh from him with a promise to return the money within fifteen days. However, till date he failed to return the money and also threatened him with dire consequences.
