Kohima: The personnel of Assam Rifles have apprehended one NSCN- K cadre, along with arms and ammunition in Mon district of Nagaland. In a statement by the Inspector General of Assam Rifles (North) on Saturday informed that 35 Assam Rifles under aegis of IGAR (N) apprehended one Self Style Corporal Cheimang, a resident of Pesao, Tobu Sub Division in Mon District.
The individual was carrying out tax collection for NSCN (K). One point 22 mm pistol along with ammunition and some other indoctrinatory documents were recovered from his possession, it informed. (UNI)
