SHILLONG: The election committee selected by the central executive body of the Khasi Students’ Union (KSU) has said the 13th election to the office of the pressure group will be held on February 11 from 8am-3pm at Dinam Hall in Jaiaw.
The committee has urged youths from different units to come forward to file their nominations between January 17 and 23 from 11 am to 5 pm at the office of the organisation on Chapel Road in Jaiaw.
Nomination papers can be submitted from January 20-24 till 5 pm to the chairman, Danny Khyriem or the secretary, Samuel Jyrwa, of the election committee.
Scrutiny of the nomination papers will be on January 27 at 4 pm. The committee has informed all units, circles and district units to submit the names of their nominees, 10 from each unit, within January 23 (5pm).
