Man held with three guns

TURA: A 25-year-old man was arrested on Thursday for carrying arms.
A joint team of North Garo Hills police and Gorkha Rifles personnel seized three pistols from Tengman D. Shira during a raid at Tapa Darengchi village early on Thursday morning.
Shira, who is from Tapa Agitchak village, had two Chinese made 7.65 calibre handguns and a 9 mm pistol. Police suspect that the man would have sold the weapons either to militants or criminal gangs.
