State to participate in East India Body building C’ship

 SHILLONG: A nine-member team will represent the State in the upcoming ‘East India Body Building Championship 2011’ scheduled to be held from November 12 -13 in Guwahati.

In a statement issued here, the general secretary Meghalaya Body Builders’ Association (MBBA), Arnold M Lanong informed that the nine member team would be led by Swapan Das while Vickey Teron, Mithu Das, Subrata Das, Pintu Barua, Abhijeet Chanda, Titan Paul, Tapan Malakar, M Robi Meitei and Veeru Singh Hans will be part of the contingent. The announcement comes a week after the MBBA successfully conducted the State Body Building Championship 2011 on Saturday last at U Soso Tham Auditorium.
