SHILLONG: The Commerce Department of St Anthony’s College Extension, Byndihati campus, in collaboration with Meghalaya Rural Bank in Khliehriat organised a seminar on ‘The importance and Role of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in tackling unemployment problems in Jaintia Hills’ on Wednesday.
The seminar was aimed at spreading awareness among youths in Jaintia Hills on the MSME sector and how it can help improve the economic condition of the area. Speaking as chief guest, Clement Mawkon, BDO of Khliehriat, said the government has launched various skill development programmes.
