SHILLONG: The Political Department is in the process of finalising the name of the judicial officer who will lead the inquiry into Monday’s police firing in North Garo Hills, sources said.
Meanwhile, a magisterial inquiry into the incident has also been ordered by the deputy commissioner of North Garo Hills. The probe will be conducted by ADM P.K Boro and the ADM has been given a month’s time to complete the inquiry.
