Man knocked down, injured
On March 9, one vehicle (number not known) knocked down Storis Makdoh, driver of truck (ML-04A-7548) at Mihmyntdu (WJH). As a result, the victim sustained injuries and was shifted to CH Ialong.
Motorcyclist injured
On March 10 around 9.20 pm, one Maruti local taxi (ML-05D-0185) driven by Bapon Banik (20) dashed against a motorcycle ridden by Ajay Roy (30) near Green Hills Restaurant, Polo, Shillong. As a result, the rider sustained injuries and was removed to CH Shillong.
Anonymous SMS
Rilang Lyngdoh (30), driver of vehicle (ML-06-5131) belonging to Baiasuklang Tariang, lodged a complaint that on March 8 about 10.44 am, he received an anonymous SMS on his cell phone, wherein the sender threatened to torch the aforementioned vehicle.
One attacked with knife
Damon Sten of Mukroh village (WJH) lodged a complaint that on March 4 at around 7 pm, one Silas Sten attacked him with a knife and also threatened the complainant and his family members.
Harassment
A woman from Nongrah, Nonglum, Shillong lodged a complaint that Pynshai Rani threatened her since February 26 to March 4 over phone.
Intimidation
Jamris Suja of Khliehriat West (EJH) lodged a complaint that Chynna Dkhar and her associates frequently asked him to operate his shop jointly with hers. However, when the complainant refused, the woman threatened to disturb his daily business.
Laptop theft
On the night of March 7, unknown miscreants stole one laptop computer and a wallet containing ATM card, EPIC and Driving License from the residence of Lallawmsanga Sangtea at Nongrim Hills, Shillong.
Rs 25 lakh stolen
A woman lodged a complaint that on March 7, her husband, Becareful Pyrtuh stole cash Rs 25 lakh from her house at Mookympad village (EJH).
Motorcycle and Truck missing
On March 10 between 6 pm and 7 pm, unknown miscreant(s) stole one motorcycle (ML-05K-9610) belonging to Arnold Marbaniang from Laban Red Cross, Shillong.
Pradeep Laskar lodged a complaint that on March 6, his truck (ML-04B-4263) was stolen by his driver and one person identified as Md. Salim from Dawki (WJH).
