SHILLONG: The five-day youth leadership and community development camp which started on March 11 will continue upto March 15 at the Bharat Scouts and Guides campus, Laban with the theme “Growing your dreams together”.
The leadership camp was participated by the mixture of youth from the Youth Red Cross, the NYK, SOS village, Rovers and Rangers of the Bharat Scouts and Guides and some from the localities and colleges.
The activities witnessed include orienteering soft skills, personality development, first aid and disaster management and youth entrepreneurship.
Social evenings were held for cultural awareness and preservation of culture. The most benefiting programme was the field trip to RRTC, Umran where the participants witnessed the different trades, creating interest in them for starting their own business.
