Umroi base
Shillong: Maj Gen PS Behl took over the Command of the Prestigious Umroi based Red Horns Division on March 18. A second generation Army officer, the General officer was commissioned in the Assam Regiment on 15 Dec 1984 and has been posted on various instructional and staff appointments in India and abroad. He has vast experience in operations across a wide spectrum of conflict and terrain profile in Western and Eastern Theatres. He also participated in UN Peace Keeping Operations at Mozambique and has been on secondment with UN DPKO at New York. The GOC with his previous experiences in North East India assured that Red Horns Division will continue to stand by the people of Assam.
