House passes over Rs 13048-crore budget

SHILLONG: The Legislative Assembly on Thursday passed over Rs 13,048-crore budget for the fiscal year 2017-2018. In this regard, the Meghalaya Appropriation (No.II) Bill, 2017, was passed by the Assembly to enable the State Government to withdraw Rs 13,048,22,15,000 out of the consolidated fund of the State from April 1.
