Speaking to reporters, SP East Khasi Hills M. Kharkrang said, “Through the years we are trying to reach out to the public in various ways. I feel through the years, it has improved a lot and nowadays we do not feel that the public will not cooperate with us.”

Stating that, the relationship with the public has strengthened, the SP said, “The public wants law and order to prevail and that is exactly what we are doing and to achieve that we need the cooperation of the public.”
