SHILLONG: The MCIC 19th South Shillong Constituency, under the leadership of MLA, Sanbor Shullai and Ricky Shullai- MDC, organised a public meeting on February 11 at Tender Care School Kench’s Trace, attended by officials of PWD /PHE/Municipal Board along with Rangbah Dong of Upper Kench’s Trace, Kench’s Trace and members of local NGOs and local leaders.
Various issues were discussed in the meeting, for taking up developmental projects like enhancement of water supply, improvement and construction of motorable road, motorable link road and drains including repairing and renovation of drains, roads, and footpaths.
Later a joint inspection was conducted for construction of additional water supply from Wahsohphe water source for public distribution followed by inspection for immediate construction, renovation and repairing of PWD roads and drains at Bishnupur, Upper Kench’s Trace, Kench’s Trace, New Kench’s Trace including other areas, within entire MLA and MDC constituency for the welfare and interest of the public.
