One arrested for creating ruckus
On February 12 at about 11.30 am, public apprehended one Brinath N Marak (30) who was creating nuisance in the ABDK Sobha venue at Karukol South Garo Hills under influence of alcohol and assaulted him. As a result, he sustained injuries and was admitted at CH Baghmara. One country-made revolver was also recovered from his possession. Matter is under investigation.
BSF vehicle knocks down one
On February 12 at about 12.30 pm, one BSF Maruti Gypsy (JK-02R-9878) driven by D/C Sunil Kumar (37) of 130 Bn., BSF, knocked down one pedestrian Sylbestar Kharsyntiew (60) at Nongmynsong, Lumshyiap, Shillong. Matter is under enquiry.
