NONGPOH: The youth wing of the United Democratic Party in Ri Bhoi has elected new office bearers.
The election was held at Mawroh VEC building in Nongpoh last Saturday. The elected office bearers are president Michael Teron, working president Anthony Sumer, vice president Skaling Basaiawmoit (Umroi), Joplin Sten (Mawhati), Banpynskhem Kharnaior (Umsning), Phris Narlong(Nongpoh), Balawan Syiemiong (Jirang), general secretary Jeffrey Khymdeit, joint secretary Lasting Syiem, Thomas Lyngdoh, Iada Makdoh, finance secretary Pharap Manih, education secretary Ricky Nongrum and sports and cultural secretary Lurstep Makdoh.
UDP district president Donbok Khymdeit administered oath to the new members and urged them to work hard for the Assembly elections in 2018.
