Davis Marak new SP of EKH

SHILLONG: Davis N.R Marak is the new superintendent of police in East Khasi Hills after M. Kharkrang was posted as special superintendent of police in a major reshuffle in the Home (Police) Department effected on Thursday.
S.S Kynjing, DIG of Western Range, has been transferred to Shillong as DIG (SB).
The Special SP (SB-II) Shillong, Ricky Dkhar, has been posted as Special SP (SB-I). Kharkrang will become the new Special SP (SB-II).
Among those who were promoted are Tura SP M.K Singh as DIG, H. Toi and Rituraj Ravi on the recommendation of the departmental screening committee that met last year. Singh is now posted as DIG (Western Range) Tura.
Meanwhile, South West Garo Hills SP Anand Mishra has been released from Meghalaya segment to join the Assam segment of the Assam-Meghalaya Joint cadre with immediate effect.
On the other hand, Vivekanand Singh, Deputy Commandant, 5th MLP Battalion Samgong in East Garo Hills, has now been transferred as the SP of the district.
Abraham T. Sangma, the Additional SP of North Garo Hills, has now been transferred as the SP of South Garo Hills.
North Garo Hills SP, Raghavendra Kumar M.G, has been transferred as SP, West Garo Hills.
D.P Marak, the Special SP (SB-1) has been transferred as SP of North Garo Hills.
