SHILLONG: In view of the recent changes in traffic routes in and around Don Bosco area, no entry to Upland Road will be enforced from the junction opposite to the office of the Director of Health Services, Shillong on Red Hill Road.
In a statement, police said that all vehicles wanting to use Upland Road will enter from near St. Mary’s School and exit from Red Hill Road.
However, no entry from both sides during school hours (from 7:30 am to 9 am and 2 pm to 3 pm) will continue. No vehicle will be allowed to enter from both sides during these timings, police said, adding that this has been done to ensure the safety of the students who have to walk through Upland Road.
