MBOSE notice
Some of the textbooks prescribed by MBOSE have been revised and updated. Students and parents have been requested to use the latest revised textbooks for classroom transaction as well as evaluation from the elementary level to the secondary level.
Appointed
The State Meghalaya has appointed Disyona Passah as Vice Chairman of the State Government Programme Implementation & Monitoring Committee. This was informed by the Secretary to the Meghalaya Government, Programme Implementation & Evaluation Department.
National Science Day
As part of the celebration of National Science Day, the State Council of Science, Technology & Environment along with Shillong Science Centre will organize a three-day programme on ‘Regional Innovators Conclave’ at the State Central Library from February 28 to March 2. A number of events like science march, screening of science films, science lectures, open science quiz and exhibitions will be conducted during the programme.
Notification
The State Meghalaya has notified the creation of Chokpot Civil Sub-Division in South Garo Hills with its headquarters at Chokpot. This was informed by the Joint Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Home (Police) Department.
