Bakdil Childline conducts awareness programme

TURA: Bakdil Childline here organised an awareness programme at Chasingre village on Saturday. A Childline counsellor explained about the project, its aim and objectives. She also spoke about child abuse, child labour and substance abuse and urged the children among the audience to make use of the helpline number 1098 when in distress. Child rights and right to education were also discussed. There were 58 participants, including the headman, ASHA and headmaster of Chasingre S.S.A School Sengsilchi M. Sangma.
