IAS officer serving in State appointed at PMO

NEW DELHI:  Two IAS officers working in the north-east have been appointed in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) here, an order issued by the Personnel Ministry said on Friday.
The officers are Vijay Kumar Mantri (Assam-Meghalaya cadre) and Aishvarya Singh, (Sikkim).
Mantri has been appointed as a Deputy Secretary and Singh will work as an Under Secretary.
Mantri, a 2007-batch IAS officer, is a native of Andhra Pradesh.
Mantri was holding the post of Additional Secretary, Mining & Geology Department in Meghalaya. (PTI)
