SHILLONG: A young woman was found dead in her rented house at Tynring on Monday night, police said. The body was first noticed by the 25-year-old woman’s mother and her relatives, East Khasi Hills SP Davis Marak said. Police recovered it on Tuesday morning.
The police arrested her boyfriend, Albert Makdoh, for his alleged role in the murder.According to the police, the woman was initially found hanging from the window. Marak said an FIR was filed by the mother who alleged that her daughter was murdered.Makdoh has been sent to five-day police custody.
