SHILLONG: Crime against women is a cause for concern in the State. So is drug abuse by the youth, including girls, and cyber crime, cases of which have increased in India in the last few years.
This is the reason why Sadar police station, in collaboration with Manbha Foundation, chose to organise an awareness programme on the three issues at Lady Keane Higher Secondary School on Tuesday.
Participants were from classes IX to XII. There were teachers too in the audience.
