SHILLONG: Two bodies were recovered from different localities of East Khasi Hills district on Friday.
Body of Dai Kharkrang (42) was recovered from Lyngkhoi, Khliehshnong and on the same day, an unidentified male dead body was recovered from an abandoned house at Assam Rifles Bazar, Happy Valley.
Necessary formalities were observed and the cadavers were sent to hospital for PM examination.
