 SHILLONG: Police on Monday arrested two members of Hynñiewtrep People’s Federation (HPF) from Mawdatbaki for their alleged involvement in the assault of three people who was performing rituals at Lum Shyllong (Shillong Peak) recently.

The two arrested persons are Kitkupar Sun, publicity secretary and Banlumlang Lyngdoh, assistant general secretary.

A senior police official said hunt was on for the other members of the NGO.
